Performance
- Packet of 12 cards is shuffled by magician and cut by spectator
- Cards are divided into two piles = 6 cards in each pile
- Spectator is asked to choose any pile, take its top card and place it aside
- Rest of the cards is put together and magician takes top and bottom cards - 5 pairs are created and 1 card is then left in performers hand
- Magician reveals that the card in the hand is mate to card that was selected by spectator and that pairs on the table are matching as well
Tutorial
- Arrange cards in following order: K-Q-J, K-Q-J, K-Q-J, K-Q-J - alternate the colors
- Perform false shuffles and let spectator cut the deck
- Create two piles - for first pile reverse the order by dealing cards on table one by one - for second pile don't reverse the order
- Ask spectator to choose a pile and take its top card
- Place the other pile on top
- Take top and bottom cards (see video) and place this pairs on the table till you have only once card left in your hand
- Reveal that the card in your hand is mate to card that was selected by spectator and that pairs on the table are matching too
