Street Magic Fail
I didn't handle this the way I should have----but I was in character, and was really thrown off that they didn't want to see a magic trick from the Joker.
This happens all the time, don't worry about it, don't think about it, just move on to 1 of the other 100 people in line willing and wanting to be entertained by your magic.
